The youth ballet company is currently in its fifth official season beginning in August of 2021 under the direction of Angelica South. The company’s goal is to provide professional level ballet training, community outreach programs, and performance opportunities for children in the Central Kentucky area. Open to all students between the ages of 4-18 (as well as professional guest dancers) the company holds an annual audition in June for to cast dancers into the upcoming season’s ballets. The audition is open to all dancers who meet the age requirement and also be taking a minimum of one weekly ballet technique class (and for ladies en pointe, one weekly pointe class) at the studio of their choice. 

 

UFAA is proud to offer its programs to youth from any background or prior dance experience. By joining UFAA, they gain confidence in themselves, team work with their peers, integrity, hard work, kindness, and a love for ballet and the arts!
